ATR 20 (Ex-HMRT Justice) In the city of Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, the southern most city of the world is a beached civilian tug in front of the port that has been there for a long time and has become one of the city´s icons. This Ex ATR is called the "St Cristopher" It was bought by the Simoncini Company in 1953, for the rescue of the  Luxury German Liner "Monte Cervantes" that got beached in the mid 30´s in the "Les Euclaires" rocks few miles from Ushuaia. It has been  verified by DSRTA (our counterpart in the UK) and the Maritime Museum in Ushuaia that the ship is the (Ex) HMRT Justice. The Justice was transferred back to the U.S. Navy 20 March 1946.  Her name was struck from the Navy List 3 July 1946, and she was sold 3 October 1947.

ATR 20 (Ex-HMRT Justice)  Note the causeway that has been built out to the ship. This is for the Prefectura Naval Argentina (Argintina's Coast Guard) who is pumping out old fuel from the ship to prevent further leaking into the harbor.
