USS Lipan |

Lipan Indian, Mary Richards, sends her best
wishes to the crew of the USS Lipan ATF 85 during WW-II
. The Lipan were an Apache warrior tribe driven from Texas to
Northern Mexico about 1855. Nineteen survivors were relocated to
the Mescalero Reservation, New Mexico, in1905. Some are now on the

Lipan (T-ATF-85) MSC military detachment crew, with as much name
info I can remember. I'm hopeing that someone will see it and fill in
the blanks. Photo taken in the Philipines about 1972 or 3, and is all
the Mildet except the one left to guard the radio room 1972-3
