222 Kasota also known as "Mighty Dueces"
Coming "on-line" on a Sat. morn. in the winter of
1960. The photo was taken by a sailor on the flight deck of the USS

Additional Note from Dale: The Kasota
was first tug to put a line on the first nuclear aircraft carrier(USS
Enterprise,CVN 65) when she went on a 'shake-down' cruise out of Newport
News, VA in 1960. It is also believed that she was the last 'Wooden hull'
tug in the Navy at the time.
